Streetwear ManufacturingIn-House Fabric KnittingMade to Order

Our Process

From yarn
to your customers.

Because we knit our own fabric and make the garments under one roof, every step is planned, checked and connected. Here is how an order moves through Ma Tex Mills.

Brief & Design01

Step 01

Brief & Design

Tell us what you want to make. Send a tech pack, a sketch, a reference garment or just an idea. We review fit, fabric, trims and branding, then turn it into a clear plan and a production-ready pattern.

  • Tech pack & pattern review
  • Fabric and trim selection
  • Costing and timeline
Yarn & Knitting02

Step 02

Yarn & Knitting

This is where we are different. We knit the fabric ourselves, choosing the yarn, weight and construction to suit your garment: jersey, rib, fleece, terry and more.

  • In-house knitting
  • Custom weight and composition
  • Lab dips and fabric swatches
Dyeing & Finishing03

Step 03

Dyeing & Finishing

Your fabric is dyed to match your colour and finished for a soft hand-feel, stable shape and minimal shrinkage, so it looks right and keeps looking right after washing.

  • Colour matching
  • Softening and finishing
  • Shrinkage and stability checks
Pattern & Cutting04

Step 04

Pattern & Cutting

Approved patterns are graded across your size range and laid out to cut efficiently. Every panel is cut with care so pieces match and panels line up.

  • Pattern grading
  • Marker planning
  • Precision cutting
Sewing & Branding05

Step 05

Sewing & Branding

Skilled operators stitch your garments, then add the details that make them yours: labels, prints, embroidery, drawcords and custom trims.

  • Stitching and construction
  • Print and embroidery
  • Labels and trims
Quality Control06

Step 06

Quality Control

We inspect during production and again before packing. Stitching, measurements, colour and finish are all checked against your approved sample.

  • In-line inspection
  • Measurement checks
  • Final audit before packing
Packing & Delivery07

Step 07

Packing & Delivery

Garments are folded, tagged and packed to your specification, then shipped to you or straight to your warehouse.

  • Custom folding and tagging
  • Carton packing
  • Shipping coordination
