Polo Shirt made by Ma Tex Mills

Polo Shirt Manufacturing

Made in-house, from yarn to finished garment.

Polos have moved far beyond the golf course. Today they sit at the centre of streetwear, smart casual and uniform ranges alike, and the difference between an average polo and a great one is almost always the fabric and the collar.

At Ma Tex Mills we knit the pique and jersey ourselves, so we can match the weight, texture and stretch to your brief. Our team then cuts, sews and finishes each polo with collars and plackets built to stay crisp wash after wash.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which fabric is best for a polo shirt?

Cotton pique is the classic choice because its textured surface is breathable and hides sweat well. Jersey gives a smoother, softer feel and suits streetwear styles. We can also make waffle and blended fabrics.

Can you match my brand colour?

Yes. We dye fabric to match your reference colour and send fabric swatches for approval before bulk production.

Do you make polos with embroidery?

Yes. Embroidery, printing and custom labels are all part of our branding services, so your polos arrive ready to sell or wear.

Can you work from a sample polo I already have?

Absolutely. Send us a garment you love, or a tech pack, and we will make a pattern and sample for you to approve.
